Itinerary

Upon arrival in Kochi, you are received and transferred to your hotel. The first day is designed to ease you into the journey while offering light photographic opportunities in a relaxed environment. Kochi’s coastal setting and heritage architecture provide a strong introduction to the visual diversity of South India.
In the afternoon, you can explore Fort Kochi, where streets, old buildings, and waterfront scenes offer multiple photography subjects. The Chinese fishing nets create interesting compositions, especially during sunset when light conditions become softer and more dramatic.
The evening is free for leisure, allowing you to organize your gear and prepare for the upcoming days. The slow start ensures that you are not rushed and can adjust comfortably to the environment.

The day begins early to capture morning light in Kochi, where streets are quieter and natural light enhances textures and colors. You explore local markets, narrow lanes, and coastal areas, focusing on candid moments and everyday life.
The experience is designed to allow time for observation and composition rather than rushing between locations. Kochi offers a mix of subjects including people, architecture, and street scenes, making it ideal for building a visual narrative.
In the afternoon, you may revisit selected locations or relax. The evening again offers opportunities for sunset photography, particularly along the waterfront.

After breakfast, you proceed towards Munnar, a scenic drive filled with photographic opportunities. Waterfalls, greenery, and winding roads create multiple stops for landscape photography.
As you reach Munnar, the environment changes into rolling tea plantations and mist-covered hills. The patterns formed by tea estates create visually striking compositions, especially under diffused light.
Upon arrival, you check into your hotel and prepare for the next day’s early shoots. The rest of the day is kept relaxed to allow proper rest.

The day starts early to capture sunrise light over Munnar. The mist, combined with soft sunlight, creates ideal conditions for landscape photography. Tea plantations offer layered compositions with depth and texture.
After breakfast, you explore various viewpoints and plantation areas, focusing on different angles and perspectives. The slow pace ensures that you have enough time to frame each shot properly.
In the afternoon, you may continue shooting or relax. The evening again provides opportunities for sunset photography, completing a full day of visual exploration.

After breakfast, you drive towards Thekkady, entering a more forested and textured environment. The journey offers changing landscapes that can be captured along the way.
Upon arrival, you check into your hotel and later explore spice plantations and surrounding areas. The environment here offers a mix of greenery, shadows, and natural textures suitable for photography.
The rest of the day is free for relaxed shooting or rest. Thekkady provides a different visual mood compared to Munnar.

The day is dedicated to exploring Thekkady in detail. After breakfast, you focus on capturing smaller elements such as plants, textures, and natural patterns.
The forest environment allows for close-up and detail photography, creating a contrast to wide landscapes. The pace remains slow to allow experimentation and creativity.
In the afternoon, you may explore additional areas or relax. The evening is calm and suitable for low-light photography.

After breakfast, you proceed towards Alleppey. The landscape shifts into canals and water bodies, offering a completely different visual setting.
Upon arrival, you board your houseboat, which becomes a moving platform for photography. Reflections in water, village life, and passing scenery create continuous opportunities for capturing images.
The evening offers soft light conditions, ideal for reflection shots and calm compositions. The overnight stay on the houseboat adds to the experience.

After breakfast, you proceed towards Kumarakom. The environment remains centered around water but offers a more stable and quiet setting.
Upon arrival, you check into your resort and explore nearby areas. The still water surfaces provide perfect reflections, especially during early morning and sunset.
The rest of the day is free for relaxed photography or rest. The calm environment allows for creative exploration.

The day is dedicated to slow photography in Kumarakom. Early morning light offers soft tones and reflections that are ideal for capturing serene compositions.
You may take a boat ride or explore nearby villages, focusing on daily life and natural surroundings. The pace remains flexible and comfortable.
In the afternoon, you can relax or continue shooting. The evening again offers beautiful light conditions.

After breakfast, you proceed towards Madurai, where the journey transitions from nature to culture and architecture.
Upon arrival, you check into your hotel and later explore local areas. Madurai offers a completely different visual experience with its temples, streets, and cultural activity.
The evening provides opportunities for low-light and architectural photography.

The day begins with exploring Madurai in detail, focusing on architectural and cultural photography.
You capture details, patterns, and activities that define the city’s character. The experience remains unhurried.
