The Golden Triangle with Mandawa is an 8-day tour that takes you through some of the most iconic destinations in India. The tour begins in Delhi, where you will explore the city's rich history and culture, including visits to the Red Fort and many more. From there, you will travel to Agra to witness the world-famous Taj Mahal, followed by a visit to the ancient city of Fatehpur Sikri. You will then head to Abhaneri to see the stunning Chand Baori stepwell before reaching Jaipur, the "Pink City" of Rajasthan, where you will visit the magnificent Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. The tour ends in Mandawa, a charming town known for its beautiful Havelis (ornate mansions), before returning to Delhi for your departure. Throughout the tour, you will also have the chance to experience the rural life of India by visiting local villages and interacting with the locals.

Namaste and welcome to India, a land of timeless traditions, vibrant cultures and majestic history. Upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our experienced tour representative, who will assist with your transfer to your pre-booked hotel for check-in.
After settling in, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You may choose to relax in your room or step out for a gentle walk in the nearby markets.

After breakfast at your hotel, set out for a guided full-day city tour of India’s capital and fantastic journey through two worlds: Old Delhi, brimming with Mughal history, and New Delhi, a grand imperial city designed by the British.
Your tour starts with Red Fort (outside view), the symbolic heart of Mughal India. Then, visit the majestic Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques. From there, enjoy an unforgettable rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, a bustling market teeming with vendors, color, and aromas.
Stop at Khari Baoli, Asia’s largest spice market, and take in the vibrant chaos of traders dealing in exotic spices and herbs. Continue to Raj Ghat, a peaceful memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.
Next, discover the grandeur of New Delhi: explore the serene Humayun’s Tomb, an architectural marvel that inspired the design of the Taj Mahal. Visit the stunning Lotus Temple, a Bahá’í House of Worship known for its striking design and tranquil setting. Then see Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in India.
Conclude the tour with a drive past India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House), and the Parliament House, symbolizing India’s colonial past and democratic future.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing by road to Agra, a city steeped in romance and history, once the flourishing capital of the Mughal Empire.
Upon arrival, visit the majestic Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built in the 16th century. This red sandstone fort houses several fairy-tale palaces, audience halls, and mosques within its massive walls. Explore the Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), and the elegant Musamman Burj, where Shah Jahan is said to have spent his last days gazing at the Taj Mahal across the river.

Rise early and head to the Taj Mahal to witness its breathtaking beauty at sunrise, as the soft morning light brings the marble monument to life. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal, this masterpiece of Mughal architecture is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Return to the hotel for breakfast, and later visit Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, often referred to as the Baby Taj for its elegant design and delicate marble inlay work. Then visit Jama Masjid, a large mosque that reflects the architectural grandeur of the era.
Drive: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri – Jaipur
Check out and proceed toward Fatehpur Sikri, a perfectly preserved ghost city built by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Wander through its red sandstone structures like Buland Darwaza, Panch Mahal, and Salim Chishti’s Tomb.
Continue to the village of Abhaneri, where you’ll explore the Chand Baori Stepwell, one of the oldest and deepest in India, with 3,500 narrow steps arranged in a precise geometric pattern over 13 stories.
Later, drive onward to Jaipur, the regal capital of Rajasthan, also known as the Pink City for its rose-hued architecture. Founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II in 1727, Jaipur is a harmonious blend of royal grandeur and vibrant culture. Arrive and check in to your hotel.

After breakfast, go on a guided tour of Jaipur, starting with the majestic Amber Fort, perched on a hilltop overlooking Maota Lake. Ascend to the fort via a traditional elephant ride or by jeep, and explore the Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), Ganesh Pol, and beautiful courtyards.
Stop for photos at the picturesque Jal Mahal (Water Palace), nestled in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.
Visit the City Palace, a grand complex of courtyards, gardens, and palatial buildings that still serves as a residence for the royal family. Explore its museums showcasing royal attire, weaponry, and art.
Continue to Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO-listed astronomical observatory with instruments that track celestial movements, and visit Albert Hall Museum, with its fine Indo-Saracenic architecture and rich collection of antiquities.
End with a visit to the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), with its honeycomb of small windows designed for royal women to observe the street life without being seen.
Spend your evening exploring Jaipur’s local bazaars, known for block-printed fabrics, handcrafted jewelry, precious stones, carpets, blue pottery, and leather goods.

After breakfast, drive to Mandawa, a charming town in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, known for its elaborately painted havelis (mansions) and historical significance.
On arrival, check in to your heritage hotel. Later, explore the Mandawa Fort, built by Thakur Nawal Singh in 1755. The fort features beautiful frescoes, mirror work, and an open-air museum feel. Walk through the village to admire the ornate havelis, often referred to as “open-air art galleries” due to their intricate frescoes depicting mythology, colonial influences, and daily life scenes.
Mandawa offers a peek into rural life and artistic heritage rarely seen in urban India.

You have up to 45 days before the tour begins to cancel, in which case your entire land deposit and any advance payments you paid will be refunded within 21 business days.
Note: Only the land portion of the journey is subject to cancellation and rebooking policies; domestic and international train and airline tickets are not.
Note: When purchasing tickets for domestic or international travel, you must pay in full at the time of booking. You must also abide by the cancellation, rebooking and booking regulations of the individual airline and rail operators.

Should government travel restrictions force the cancellation of your journey, your deposit and any progress payments will be fully credited towards a future tour with us at no additional cost.
We are not required to provide any reimbursement for services that you do not use if you cancel a trip after it has started for any reason. On your behalf, Royal India Tours will make every effort to retrieve as much of your money as we can or work out a credit for later usage.
Any costs resulting from a cancellation or adjustment made between thirty days before the tour start date and the tour end date will be your responsibility and must be paid by you within twenty-four hours of the modification.
We are not required to provide any reimbursement for services that are not used if the tour must be changed or cancelled for any reason other than illness or COVID-19. On your behalf, Royal India Tours will make every effort to retrieve as much of your money as we can or work out a credit for later usage. Any associated costs are your responsibility and must be paid for within a day.
Refunds or cancellations won't take effect until we get official documentation of the cancellation.

There is a required single surcharge for travellers travelling alone.
Please provide valid passport details Either at the time of purchase or no later than 45 days before the travel date, customers must provide valid passport details. The reservation may be cancelled if this isn't done. Customers will be in charge of any associated costs and fees in this case.
Most visitors need a visa to enter India, except for citizens of Nepal and Bhutan. Tourist visas last for six months but cannot be extended. Nationals of some countries can get a visa on arrival, while others need to apply in advance online. Leaving on a tourist visa means no re-entry within two months, with some exceptions. Businessmen and students can get five-year visas. Certain areas require special permits, and some are off-limits to foreigners.

The purpose of international travel insurance is to go with you and help you make better-informed travel decisions. Travel insurance is mandatory for all travellers and should be taken out before travel and must be purchase from your home country with Sum Insured $50,000 USD to $200,000 USD. Your insurance must cover personal accidents, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with coverage. We also strongly recommend coverage for cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, loss of luggage and personal effects. You must provide your policy number and the insurer's emergency contact 15 days before the tour starts. Without these details, you will not be able to join the trip.
During the tour, you are in charge of all your possessions. The standard weight limit for checked baggage on Indian domestic airlines is 15 kg, while carry-on luggage is 7 kg.
Unfortunately, wheelchair users and anyone with limited mobility cannot now participate in our tours because our cars are not wheelchair accessible.
Note that this will require a general degree of fitness. Before making a purchase or booking a trip, please speak with your healthcare physician if you have any concerns.
Please be aware that your schedule may be changed, subject to availability, or an equivalent activity may be provided in its place if entry to a site is impacted by modifications to working hours or public holiday closures.
This covers any modifications to your reservation that you request, including but not restricted to those that call for reissuing the Purchase Confirmation or an airline ticket.
Changes: $100.00 per reservation plus any extra fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging or any travel agencies.
In the event that Royal India Tours receives notification of an inaccurate name, there will be a $100.00 booking fee in addition to any additional fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging provider or other travel suppliers.
