Itinerary

Your journey across India begins in the capital city, Delhi. Upon landing at the international airport, our local representative will meet you just outside the arrival gates and assist you with the transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax after the flight. Whether you choose to rest, enjoy a quiet dinner at the hotel, or take a short walk nearby, today is about settling in and preparing for the adventure ahead. Overnight stay in Delhi.

After breakfast, step out for a full-day guided tour of Delhi, where the ancient past and modern present stand side by side. Begin your morning in Old Delhi, home to narrow lanes, vibrant bazaars, and centuries-old monuments. Visit the Red Fort and Jama Masjid, then hop on a cycle rickshaw for a ride through Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in India. Make a quick stop at Khari Baoli, Asia’s largest spice market, to see the vibrant sacks of turmeric, cardamom, and dried chilies being traded.
Continue your day with visits to landmarks of New Delhi, including Raj Ghat (the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi), Humayun’s Tomb, and the serene Lotus Temple. Drive past India Gate, the Presidential House, and later explore the towering Qutub Minar, a 12th-century victory monument. Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Inclusions: Breakfast, all monument entry fees, rickshaw ride, and guided city tour.

After breakfast, check out and drive to the airport to board your flight to Varanasi, one of India’s oldest and most spiritual cities. On arrival, you’ll be greeted by our local coordinator who will assist with the transfer to your hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is yours. You might prefer to relax at the hotel or explore a local market nearby. Overnight stay in Varanasi.
Inclusions: Breakfast, domestic flight, airport transfers

Start your day early with a peaceful boat ride on the Ganges during sunrise — a time when the riverfront comes alive with rituals, chants, and prayers. Glide past the ancient ghats, including Manikarnika Ghat, where cremation ceremonies continue as they have for centuries. It’s a powerful, moving experience that brings you face to face with India’s spiritual heart.
After the ride, return to the hotel for breakfast. Later in the day, drive to Sarnath, the site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Visit the Buddha statue, Dhamek Stupa, and a nearby museum that traces Buddhist history. After lunch and some rest at the hotel, step out again in the evening to witness the Ganga Aarti ceremony on the riverbanks — a beautifully synchronized offering of fire and devotion. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Inclusions: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, boat ride, entry fees, guided tour

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Delhi. Once you arrive, our team will receive you and begin your drive straight to Agra by private car. Rest well tonight, as an early start awaits you for the Taj Mahal tomorrow.

Most visitors need a visa to enter India, except for citizens of Nepal and Bhutan. Tourist visas last for six months but cannot be extended. Nationals of some countries can get a visa on arrival, while others need to apply in advance online. Leaving on a tourist visa means no re-entry within two months, with some exceptions. Businessmen and students can get five-year visas. Certain areas require special permits, and some are off-limits to foreigners.
