A representative from India World Wide Travel will warmly welcome you at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. You will be escorted to your hotel, where you can check in and relax after your journey.
The rest of the day is at your leisure to recover from travel, explore the nearby area, or enjoy hotel amenities.
After a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, prepare for a full day of sightseeing across Delhi, the vibrant capital city of India. Begin with the majestic Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a symbol of Mughal grandeur. Then, visit Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India, where you can marvel at its vast courtyard and intricate architecture.
Experience the lively energy of Old Delhi by taking a rickshaw ride through its bustling streets and colorful markets. Visit the Khari Baoli Spice Market, Asia's largest spice market, where vivid aromas and vibrant colors fill the air.
Next, pay homage at Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, followed by the stunning Humayun's Tomb, another UNESCO site showcasing Persian-style architecture. Visit the Lotus Temple, known for its unique flower-like design and serene atmosphere. Proceed to the soaring Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world.
Conclude your day with a drive past the President’s House (Rashtrapati Bhavan) and stop at the iconic India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian soldiers.

After breakfast and hotel check-out, you will be transferred to Delhi Airport for your flight to Amritsar. Upon arrival at Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport, a representative will assist you with your transfer to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore the local markets at your leisure.
Start your day with a visit to the Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), the holiest shrine of Sikhism. Witness the breathtaking gold-plated architecture and the spiritual ambiance of the temple complex. Participate in the daily Langar, a community kitchen serving free meals to thousands, reflecting Sikh values of equality and service.
Visit Jallianwala Bagh, a poignant historical site commemorating the tragic massacre of unarmed Indians by British troops in 1919. In the evening, drive to the Wagah Border to witness the spirited Beating Retreat Ceremony, a daily military practice symbolizing the rivalry and cooperation between India and Pakistan.

After breakfast, go on a scenic drive to Dharamshala, nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stroll along the Mall Road, where Tibetan refugees showcase and sell traditional handicrafts, colorful prayer flags fluttering in the breeze.

After an early breakfast, visit the serene Dalai Lama Monastery (Tsuglagkhang Complex), the residence of the 14th Dalai Lama, and the spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism in exile. Proceed to Bhagsu Nag Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and set against a backdrop of pine forests.
Explore the Norbulingka Institute, a remarkable center preserving Tibetan culture, crafts, and art. The institute features a museum, meditation hall, and a temple adorned with 1,173 Buddha statues in its magnificent 44-foot-high hall.

Post breakfast, start with a photo stop at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium, famous for its picturesque setting. Experience a thrilling ride on the Dharamshala Skyway Ropeway, offering spectacular aerial views of the city and surrounding valleys.
Visit McLeodGanj, a charming town with vibrant Tibetan culture, colorful markets, and cafés. Spend some time shopping for Tibetan souvenirs and handicrafts in the local market.

After breakfast and check-out, drive to the scenic hill station of Manali. En route, visit notable attractions including Kullu Shawl Factories, where exquisite woolen shawls are crafted, Sundernagar Lake, and the temples of Hanogi Devi and Mini Vaishno Devi.
Upon arrival in Manali, check in to your hotel and proceed to visit the ancient Hadimba Temple, surrounded by cedar forests and renowned for its intricate wooden architecture.

Begin your early morning journey at 4:00 AM for a long drive to Leh covering around 510 km. Enjoy magnificent views of the Himalayas, high-altitude landscapes, and mountain passes during the drive.
Arrive in Leh in the late evening and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to rest and acclimatize to the altitude.
After breakfast, explore Leh starting with the Shanti Stupa, a Buddhist white-domed structure inaugurated by the Dalai Lama, offering peaceful views and spiritual calm.
Visit the Hall of Fame War Museum, which commemorates the bravery of Indian soldiers during the Indo-Pak wars.
Explore the Ladakh Palace, a historic 16th-century royal residence with panoramic views of Leh.
Visit Spituk Gompa (Gokhang), a hilltop monastery with beautiful murals and artifacts.

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (Dumra), accessible via the Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads globally at 5,359 meters.

Today after breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake, a high-altitude lake famous for its stunning blue-green hues that seem to change with the sunlight. The lake is also a vital habitat for migratory birds.
Spend the night in a camp or hotel near Pangong Lake, soaking in the tranquility and spectacular natural beauty.
After breakfast, return to Leh. On arrival, check into your hotel and rest.
Later visit the Shey Palace, once a summer retreat for Ladakhi kings, and the scenic Indus River. Continue to the Hemis Monastery, one of Ladakh’s wealthiest monasteries, and the famous Rancho School.

You have up to 45 days before the tour begins to cancel, in which case your entire land deposit and any advance payments you paid will be refunded within 21 business days.

Should government travel restrictions force the cancellation of your journey, your deposit and any progress payments will be fully credited towards a future tour with us at no additional cost.
We are not required to provide any reimbursement for services that you do not use if you cancel a trip after it has started for any reason. On your behalf, Royal India Tours will make every effort to retrieve as much of your money as we can or work out a credit for later usage.
Any costs resulting from a cancellation or adjustment made between thirty days before the tour start date and the tour end date will be your responsibility and must be paid by you within twenty-four hours of the modification.
We are not required to provide any reimbursement for services that are not used if the tour must be changed or cancelled for any reason other than illness or COVID-19. On your behalf, Royal India Tours will make every effort to retrieve as much of your money as we can or work out a credit for later usage. Any associated costs are your responsibility and must be paid for within a day.

Please provide valid passport details Either at the time of purchase or no later than 45 days before the travel date, customers must provide valid passport details. The reservation may be cancelled if this isn't done. Customers will be in charge of any associated costs and fees in this case.
Most visitors need a visa to enter India, except for citizens of Nepal and Bhutan. Tourist visas last for six months but cannot be extended. Nationals of some countries can get a visa on arrival, while others need to apply in advance online. Leaving on a tourist visa means no re-entry within two months, with some exceptions. Businessmen and students can get five-year visas. Certain areas require special permits, and some are off-limits to foreigners.

The purpose of international travel insurance is to go with you and help you make better-informed travel decisions. Travel insurance is mandatory for all travellers and should be taken out before travel and must be purchase from your home country with Sum Insured $50,000 USD to $200,000 USD. Your insurance must cover personal accidents, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with coverage. We also strongly recommend coverage for cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, loss of luggage and personal effects. You must provide your policy number and the insurer's emergency contact 15 days before the tour starts. Without these details, you will not be able to join the trip.
During the tour, you are in charge of all your possessions. The standard weight limit for checked baggage on Indian domestic airlines is 15 kg, while carry-on luggage is 7 kg.
Unfortunately, wheelchair users and anyone with limited mobility cannot now participate in our tours because our cars are not wheelchair accessible.
Note that this will require a general degree of fitness. Before making a purchase or booking a trip, please speak with your healthcare physician if you have any concerns.
Please be aware that your schedule may be changed, subject to availability, or an equivalent activity may be provided in its place if entry to a site is impacted by modifications to working hours or public holiday closures.
This covers any modifications to your reservation that you request, including but not restricted to those that call for reissuing the Purchase Confirmation or an airline ticket.
Changes: $100.00 per reservation plus any extra fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging or any travel agencies.
In the event that Royal India Tours receives notification of an inaccurate name, there will be a $100.00 booking fee in addition to any additional fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging provider or other travel suppliers.
