India
This photography-focused 8-day Golden Triangle journey is designed for travellers who want to capture India’s architectural beauty, cultural moments and atmospheric landscapes through their lens. Each day includes ideal light conditions, curated shooting spots, guided access to scenic viewpoints and ample time to experiment with angles and compositions. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced photographer, the itinerary balances creativity with comfort, offering immersive opportunities from bustling bazaars to silent sunrise scenes.
Delhi presents both colonial avenues and vibrant narrow lanes perfect for street photography, Agra allows soft morning light over the Taj Mahal and reflections along the riverbank, while Jaipur offers vivid colours, sandstone forts and panoramic hilltop views. The pacing is crafted to suit photographers—flexible, relaxed and built around the quality of light. With private transport and a knowledgeable guide, you are free to focus completely on capturing your best frames.
Arrive in Delhi and check in to your hotel. After some rest, your evening begins with a gentle photography session around New Delhi’s landmark zones. The clean boulevards and symmetrical architecture around India Gate and the Presidential Palace area look especially elegant during blue hour when the sky deepens in colour and the buildings glow softly.
You have the option to shoot long-exposure traffic trails, wide-angle frames of architectural symmetry or simple atmospheric shots capturing Delhi’s refined evenings. This initial session gives you time to settle into your photographic flow while exploring easily accessible spots.
Overnight in Delhi
Start early in Old Delhi where morning light creates striking textures over the narrow streets, spice shops and heritage walls. Your rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk offers endless opportunities—from portrait-style local interactions to candid street moments, vendor expressions, arches, patterns and everyday life. The outer courtyards of Jama Masjid provide grand wide shots of domes, arches and human silhouettes.
Later, shift to New Delhi for architectural photography at Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. Wide lawns, red sandstone symmetry, tall minarets and carved patterns are perfect for experimenting with depth, foreground framing and balanced compositions.
Overnight in Delhi
Travel to Agra via expressway. After checking into your hotel, take some time to relax before beginning your sunset photography session. Head to Mehtab Bagh—located across the Yamuna River—for a clear, unobstructed view of the Taj Mahal during golden hour.
As the sun sets, the marble glows warmly. This time is ideal for silhouettes, reflection shots along the riverbed, minimalist frames and creative compositions using trees, arches and river textures. The slow fading of light gives you multiple layers of mood to work with.
Overnight in Agra
Start before dawn for your main photography session at the Taj Mahal. The early morning light softly illuminates the marble, allowing pastel-toned shots with minimal crowds. This is the best time for reflective pool images, symmetry frames, macro details of floral carvings, and wide shots capturing the monument’s peaceful ambience.
After breakfast, visit Agra Fort where open courtyards, multi-level pavilions and archway shadows create dramatic compositions. The fort’s blend of red sandstone and marble provides rich contrast in photographs, especially in late afternoon.
Overnight in Agra
Drive to Jaipur and stop at Abhaneri Stepwell en route. The descending symmetrical staircases form one of India’s most photographic geometric patterns—ideal for top-down shots, shadow play, and architectural abstraction.
Arrive in Jaipur by evening and visit a local viewpoint to capture the Pink City transitioning into dusk. The soft amber glow across the old quarters and city walls makes for an atmospheric first session in Rajasthan.
Overnight in Jaipur
Begin early at Amber Fort where morning light gently strikes the sandstone, revealing textures, patterns and reflective highlights. Capture wide courtyard frames, hilltop views, palace windows and intricate interiors lit by soft sunlight. This is one of the best photography mornings of the entire tour.
Continue to Panna Meena Stepwell—famous for its diamond-shaped stair patterns. Use symmetry, repetition, contrast and perspective to create impactful images. Later, visit Hawa Mahal for frontal shots of its honeycomb façade and City Palace for artistic frames, colourful walls, gates, mosaic patterns and royal architecture.
Overnight in Jaipur
Spend your morning photographing Jaipur’s vibrant markets—textiles, handicrafts, turmeric piles, jewellery shops and colourful doorways. These streets offer vivid frames rich in culture and local character. Use natural light filtering through shop awnings for high-quality portraits and candid shots.
In the evening, drive to Nahargarh or another scenic viewpoint to capture Jaipur during sunset. The city glows golden and then softens into blue hour, offering a spectacular skyline. This final photography session brings together all your creative experiences in Rajasthan.
Overnight in Jaipur
Enjoy a relaxed morning before beginning your drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival, your driver drops you at the airport or your onward location. Your photography journey concludes with a collection of diverse frames—architectural, cultural, candid, scenic and atmospheric—captured across India’s most iconic circuit.
