India
This thoughtfully paced 7-day Golden Triangle itinerary is designed especially for senior travellers who prefer comfort, easy walking routes, mild sightseeing schedules and well-organised support throughout the journey. The program balances cultural depth with relaxation, featuring comfortable travel timings, regular breaks, accessible monuments and gentle exploration of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur at a calm and enjoyable speed.
Delhi introduces the tour with historical highlights and scenic drives. Agra follows with the serene sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal and an easy walk through Mughal-era architecture. Jaipur completes the journey with royal palaces, hilltop forts accessible by vehicle, artisan markets and slower-paced cultural experiences. With private transportation, attentive guides and senior-friendly planning, this itinerary offers a pleasant, secure and memorable introduction to North India.
Arrive in Delhi where your private driver greets you and assists with luggage before transferring you to your hotel. Once checked in, enjoy a few hours of rest to adjust after your journey. The atmosphere of the hotel and its comfort ensures a gentle start to your trip.
Later in the day, take a light orientation drive through New Delhi. With minimal walking required, you can comfortably view India Gate, the Parliament complex and the President’s House from your vehicle. The evening remains free for relaxation or an early dinner.
Overnight in Delhi
Begin your day with a visit to Qutub Minar, where the pathways are spacious and mostly flat, making it convenient for senior travellers. Your guide narrates the monument’s history while ensuring a comfortable pace. Continue to Humayun’s Tomb, a well-maintained complex with shaded areas and smooth walkways.
Spend the afternoon in Old Delhi where a rickshaw ride allows you to enjoy the bustling lanes of ChandniChowk without strenuous walking. A brief visit to Jama Masjid (outer courtyard) offers ample time for photography without climbing steps.
Overnight in Delhi
After breakfast, travel to Agra via a smooth expressway ride. The journey is comfortable with scheduled rest stops. On arrival, check into your hotel and take some time to relax before beginning your sightseeing activities.
Visit Agra Fort with a senior-friendly route covering accessible courtyards, shaded corridors and scenic viewpoints. Your guide focuses on the easier pathways, ensuring that the exploration is comfortable yet enriching. The remainder of the day is free for rest.
Overnight in Agra
Start early for a gentle sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. Wheelchair access and golf carts are available to reduce walking distances, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Enjoy ample time admiring the marble monument’s colours and details from comfortable viewing spots.
Return for breakfast and then begin your drive to Jaipur. The journey is paced with rest breaks and refreshments. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy a relaxed evening at your hotel.
Overnight in Jaipur
Begin your morning with a jeep ride up to Amber Fort, avoiding the uphill climb. Inside the fort, your guide selects the easiest routes so that you can explore its courtyards, decorated halls and panoramic viewpoints without strain. Plenty of resting points ensure a comfortable experience.
Return to the city for a photo stop at Hawa Mahal followed by a visit to the City Palace, which has accessible galleries, lifts in certain sections and shaded courtyards. Spend the remainder of the day browsing Jaipur’s handicraft markets at a relaxed pace or resting at your hotel.
Overnight in Jaipur
This day is intentionally kept slow-paced. You may visit a textile showroom, jewellery studio or pottery workshop where seating is available and demonstrations happen at a comfortable pace. Alternatively, enjoy a restful day at your hotel’s poolside or courtyard.
If preferred, a short visit to the Albert Hall Museum or a scenic drive through Jaipur’s rustic outskirts can be arranged without requiring long walks.
Overnight in Jaipur
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing for Delhi. Your private vehicle pauses for rest stops, refreshments and comfort breaks along the way. Upon reaching Delhi, you are dropped at the airport or your onward destination.
Your senior-friendly Golden Triangle journey concludes with pleasant memories, comfortable sightseeing and gentle cultural encounters.
