Overviews

Rajasthan offers far more than its visual grandeur; it offers space—space to move freely, to observe, and to be at ease. This itinerary is curated for travellers who value openness, respectful environments and destinations where individuality blends naturally into the rhythm of local life. The route prioritises cities and towns known for cultural tolerance, artistic expression and relaxed social settings.

Across twelve days, the journey unfolds gradually, allowing each destination to reveal itself without pressure. Hotels are selected for their professionalism, privacy and service standards, while daily pacing ensures comfort and balance. This is a Rajasthan tour designed to feel welcoming rather than performative.

Highlights

  • Carefully chosen LGBT-friendly hotels and service partners
  • Cities known for cultural openness and artistic communities
  • Private chauffeur-driven travel throughout
  • Balanced mix of heritage cities, desert landscapes and spiritual towns
  • Designed for couples, friends and solo travellers

Itinerary

Arrival in Delhi is followed by a smooth private transfer to a premium hotel known for its discreet service standards. The first day is kept intentionally light, offering time to recover from travel and settle into a comfortable environment without social pressure or structured activity.

Later in the evening, guests may choose to relax within the hotel or take a gentle drive through central Delhi, observing the contrast between historic avenues and modern urban life. Overnight stay in Delhi.

The journey to Jaipur introduces the shift from metropolitan India to Rajasthan’s planned royal capital. The highway drive is steady and comfortable, reaching Jaipur by early afternoon. Check-in at a premium hotel that prioritises privacy and attentive service.

In the evening, a short orientation drive through Jaipur’s quieter districts provides a sense of the city’s layout and daily rhythm without entering crowded zones. Time is reserved for rest or a relaxed dinner. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

This day focuses on understanding Jaipur beyond surface-level sightseeing. Visits are paced to allow immersion in the city’s architectural logic—how forts, palaces and markets were designed to coexist within a structured urban plan.

Midday hours are kept flexible, allowing guests to return to the hotel during peak heat or crowds. The evening is left open, giving freedom to choose how to engage with the city. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Leaving Jaipur, the route moves westward into the Marwar region. The drive gradually reveals drier landscapes and smaller settlements, signalling the transition into Rajasthan’s desert heartland.

Arrival in Jodhpur by afternoon allows check-in at a premium hotel offering comfort and seclusion. A calm evening drive introduces the blue-washed neighbourhoods beneath Mehrangarh Fort, offering context without rushing into exploration. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

The day begins with a visit to Mehrangarh Fort, approached in a way that avoids peak crowds. Time is allocated to move through its spaces slowly, appreciating scale, craftsmanship and the fort’s commanding presence over the city.

Later, selective exploration of old city areas reveals daily life shaped by tradition rather than tourism. The evening remains relaxed, allowing time for rest or a quiet rooftop setting. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

The drive to Jaisalmer passes through open desert highways where the sense of distance and silence becomes part of the experience. Stops are planned to ensure comfort during the longer journey.

Arrival in Jaisalmer is timed for late afternoon, allowing check-in at a premium hotel inspired by local sandstone architecture. The evening is reserved for rest, preparing for exploration the following day. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

The fortified city of Jaisalmer forms the focus of the day. Exploration of the living fort and surrounding neighbourhoods highlights how communities continue to function within centuries-old walls.

Later hours are spent in the surrounding desert environment, where space and stillness replace urban movement. Activities remain optional, ensuring comfort and personal choice. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

An early transfer connects Jaisalmer to Udaipur via flight or a planned surface route, depending on preference. Arrival in Udaipur marks a clear contrast, replacing desert tones with water and greenery.

Check-in at a lakeside premium hotel. The evening is intentionally free, encouraging guests to unwind and absorb Udaipur’s quieter, more artistic atmosphere. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Udaipur’s day centres around its historic relationship with water and architecture. Visits focus on the palace complex and nearby quarters, revealing how the city evolved around lakes rather than fortifications.

The afternoon is kept flexible, ideal for rest or personal exploration. Evening at leisure within the hotel or nearby calm dining spaces. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Leaving Udaipur, the journey heads toward Pushkar, a town defined by spiritual life and artistic openness. The drive offers changing landscapes, gradually shifting toward a more relaxed, introspective setting.

Arrival in Pushkar allows check-in at a premium heritage-style hotel. The evening is spent near the lake area, where daily rituals and local interactions shape the town’s gentle rhythm. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

This day is devoted to Pushkar’s unique social and spiritual environment. Walks around the town reveal a blend of local residents, artists and international visitors, creating a naturally inclusive atmosphere.

Time remains unstructured, allowing travellers to engage at their own comfort level—whether through quiet observation or casual interaction. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

The final drive returns to Delhi, concluding the Rajasthan circuit. The journey allows time for reflection on the contrasts experienced throughout the tour—from royal capitals to desert towns and spiritual centres.

On arrival in Delhi, transfer to the airport or onward destination, bringing the journey to a close with ease rather than haste.
