Delhi - Rishikesh - Haridwar
A retreat in the Himalayan foothills offers more than just travel, it creates an opportunity to slow down, disconnect from routine, and reconnect with both the body and mind. This Rishikesh yoga and meditation retreat is designed for travelers who seek balance, wellness, and a deeper sense of calm through structured yet flexible experiences.
The journey begins in Delhi and moves towards the peaceful river town of Rishikesh, known globally for yoga and spiritual practices. It also includes Haridwar, where the Ganges River plays a central role in daily rituals and spiritual life.
Each destination provides a different layer of the experience, from structured yoga sessions and meditation practices to observing rituals and spending time in a naturally calming environment. The itinerary ensures a slow pace, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the retreat.
Upon arrival in Delhi, you are welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel in a private vehicle. The first day is intentionally kept calm and relaxed so that you can settle into your surroundings without any pressure of activity. Delhi acts as a convenient starting point before moving towards the quieter Himalayan region.
After check-in, you have time to rest and adjust after your journey. If you prefer, you can take a short walk near your hotel or simply relax in your room. The idea is to begin the retreat in a slow and comfortable manner rather than rushing into a structured schedule.
In the evening, you may enjoy a light dinner and prepare for the upcoming wellness journey. The calm beginning ensures that your body and mind gradually transition into a more relaxed state.
After breakfast, you proceed towards Rishikesh. The drive gradually takes you away from the city environment into greener landscapes and eventually towards the foothills of the Himalayas.
The journey is planned with comfortable breaks, allowing you to relax and enjoy the transition in scenery. As you approach Rishikesh, the presence of the river and surrounding hills creates a noticeable shift in atmosphere.
Upon arrival, you check into your retreat or hotel and relax. The rest of the day is free, allowing you to settle into the peaceful environment and prepare for the wellness sessions ahead.
The day begins early with a guided yoga session in Rishikesh, set in a calm environment near nature. The session focuses on gentle movements and breathing techniques, helping you ease into the practice without strain.
After breakfast, you may attend an introductory meditation session, where basic techniques are explained and practiced. The experience is designed to be accessible, allowing even beginners to participate comfortably.
In the afternoon, you have time to rest or explore the surroundings. The evening is calm, allowing you to reflect on the day’s experiences and gradually adapt to the slower pace of the retreat.
The day begins with another yoga session, gradually building on the previous day’s practice. The focus shifts towards improving flexibility, breathing, and awareness of movement.
Later, you spend time near the river, where the natural surroundings enhance the overall experience. The sound of flowing water and the calm environment support relaxation and mindfulness.
In the afternoon, you may attend additional sessions or rest. The day remains balanced, combining activity with relaxation.

After breakfast, you proceed towards Haridwar. The short drive allows for a smooth transition between the two destinations.
Upon arrival, you check into your hotel and relax. Haridwar offers a more traditional and ritual-focused environment compared to Rishikesh.
The rest of the day is free, allowing you to explore or rest.
