Let's go on an 18-night, 19-day journey through the regal landscapes of Rajasthan, India, beginning in Delhi. Explore the bustling streets and iconic landmarks of the capital before heading to Mandawa, a town renowned for its ornate havelis and frescoes. Continue to Bikaner, known for its formidable forts and palaces, then venture into the golden sands of Jaisalmer for a desert camp experience. Discover Jodhpur, the 'Blue City', and Udaipur, famed for its serene lakes and palaces. Itinerary

A representative from India World Wide Travel will greet you upon arrival at Delhi International Airport and assist with your transfer to the hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is at your leisure.
Overnight stay in Delhi.

After breakfast at the hotel, go on a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Delhi, India’s vibrant capital. Highlights include the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and a rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Old Delhi, including the vibrant Khari Baoli Spice Market—one of the largest in Asia.
Continue to Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, and drive past President House and India Gate.
Overnight stay in Delhi.

Enjoy breakfast, then drive to Mandawa, located in the Shekhawati region. Founded in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh, this town is famous for its beautiful Havelis, frescoes, and the renowned Mandawa Castle, now converted into a heritage hotel.
Upon arrival, check in and relax. The rest of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Mandawa Fort, a stunning example of Rajput architecture filled with intricate frescoes and paintings. Stroll through the town to admire the ornately decorated Havelis, many of which resemble open-air art galleries.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Bikaner, a fortified city in northern Rajasthan known for its rich history, massive forts, and camel heritage.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and begin a sightseeing tour, visiting Junagarh Fort (constructed between 1588–1593), Anup Mahal, Gaj Temple, Sheesh Mahal, Prachin Museum, and Lalgarh Palace.
End the day with a visit to Asia’s largest Camel Breeding Farm.

After breakfast, drive to the golden city of Jaisalmer, located in the heart of the Thar Desert. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

After breakfast, explore the Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Kella)—one of the few living forts in the world, where a quarter of the old city's population still resides. Visit the beautifully carved Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Haveli, Gadisar Lake, and Bada Bagh (Barabagh Hill).

In the afternoon, transfer to your desert camp. Enjoy a camel ride across the sand dunes and take in a breathtaking sunset over the desert. In the evening, experience traditional Rajasthani music and dance around a bonfire, followed by a local dinner.

After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur, famously known as the Blue City. Founded in 1459 by Prince Jodha, it is home to massive forts and rich history. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax for the evening.

After breakfast, begin a guided city tour. Visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Continue to the white marble Jaswant Thada and the opulent Umaid Bhawan Palace and museum.
In the evening, stroll through the lively Sardar Market, followed by dinner at Indique Restaurant, offering stunning views of Mehrangarh Fort.

After breakfast, depart for Ranakpur, home to the magnificent Ranakpur Jain Temple, built in 1439 AD and renowned for its 1,444 intricately carved marble pillars.
Continue on to Udaipur, the City of Lakes, founded in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh. Check into your hotel upon arrival. The evening is free to explore the local markets.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Udaipur. Visit Jagdish Temple, City Palace, Zenana Mahal, Durbar Hall, and Shambhu Niwas.
Take a boat ride on Lake Pichola and stop at Jagmandir Island Palace. Later, visit Sahelion-ki-Bari (Garden of the Maidens).
In the evening, you may optionally take a motorboat cruise on the lake or visit Sajjangarh Fort (Monsoon Palace) for sunset views. Conclude the day with an optional romantic lakeside dinner at Ambrai Restaurant.

After breakfast, travel to Bundi, a quiet and historic town in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan, often overlooked by tourists. Enjoy a peaceful day exploring its charming streets.

After breakfast, visit Garh Palace (Bundi Palace), a towering fort complex with stunning murals and hidden chambers. Explore the city's stepwells, 84-pillared cenotaph, and Taragarh Fort.
In the afternoon, drive to Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s top tiger reserves. Check in at your wildlife lodge and enjoy a restful evening with dinner included.

Begin the day with an early morning shared Jeep/Canter Safari at Ranthambore National Park, tracking tigers and other wildlife. Return to the resort for breakfast and rest.

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Founded in 1727 by Maharaja Jai Singh II, Jaipur is known for its majestic forts, colorful markets, and regal charm.

Enjoy breakfast, then set out for a guided tour of Amber Fort (with optional elephant ride), Jal Mahal, and City Palace, a blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture.

Spend the rest of the day exploring Jaipur’s famous markets for textiles, jewelry, carpets, and handicrafts.

After breakfast, check out and visit Chand Baori in Abhaneri, one of the deepest and most beautifully preserved stepwells in the world, built in the 8th–9th century with 3,500 narrow steps.

Continue onward to Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal.

After choosing your preferred itinerary, all you have to do to reserve your spot is send a deposit of 20% plus the cost of each booking for the train and airfare. 

Your final payment won't be due until 45 days before the start of your tour. The entire cost must be paid at the time of booking if your reservation is made less than 60 days before the tour begins.

Note: All airline booking and cancellation restrictions apply, and full payment must be made at the time of booking for both domestic and international tickets.

Note: We strongly advise getting travel insurance that includes coverage for disruptions caused by COVID-19. 
You have up to 45 days before the tour begins to cancel, in which case your entire land deposit and any advance payments you paid will be refunded within 21 business days.

Note: Only the land portion of the journey is subject to cancellation and rebooking policies; domestic and international train and airline tickets are not. 

Note: When purchasing tickets for domestic or international travel, you must pay in full at the time of booking. You must also abide by the cancellation, rebooking and booking regulations of the individual airline and rail operators. 

45 days before the tour's commencement date:
Should government travel restrictions force the cancellation of your journey, your deposit and any progress payments will be fully credited towards a future tour with us at no additional cost.

We are not required to provide any reimbursement for services that you do not use if you cancel a trip after it has started for any reason. On your behalf, Royal India Tours will make every effort to retrieve as much of your money as we can or work out a credit for later usage.

Any costs resulting from a cancellation or adjustment made between thirty days before the tour start date and the tour end date will be your responsibility and must be paid by you within twenty-four hours of the modification. 

We are not required to provide any reimbursement for services that are not used if the tour must be changed or cancelled for any reason other than illness or COVID-19. On your behalf, Royal India Tours will make every effort to retrieve as much of your money as we can or work out a credit for later usage. Any associated costs are your responsibility and must be paid for within a day.

There is a required single surcharge for travellers travelling alone.

Please provide valid passport details Either at the time of purchase or no later than 45 days before the travel date, customers must provide valid passport details. The reservation may be cancelled if this isn't done. Customers will be in charge of any associated costs and fees in this case.

Most visitors need a visa to enter India, except for citizens of Nepal and Bhutan. Tourist visas last for six months but cannot be extended. Nationals of some countries can get a visa on arrival, while others need to apply in advance online. Leaving on a tourist visa means no re-entry within two months, with some exceptions. Businessmen and students can get five-year visas. Certain areas require special permits, and some are off-limits to foreigners.

The purpose of international travel insurance is to go with you and help you make better-informed travel decisions. Travel insurance is mandatory for all travellers and should be taken out before travel and must be purchase from your home country with Sum Insured $50,000 USD to $200,000 USD. Your insurance must cover personal accidents, death, medical expenses and emergency repatriation with coverage. We also strongly recommend coverage for cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, loss of luggage and personal effects. You must provide your policy number and the insurer's emergency contact 15 days before the tour starts. Without these details, you will not be able to join the trip.

During the tour, you are in charge of all your possessions. The standard weight limit for checked baggage on Indian domestic airlines is 15 kg, while carry-on luggage is 7 kg.

Unfortunately, wheelchair users and anyone with limited mobility cannot now participate in our tours because our cars are not wheelchair accessible. 
Note that this will require a general degree of fitness. Before making a purchase or booking a trip, please speak with your healthcare physician if you have any concerns.

Please be aware that your schedule may be changed, subject to availability, or an equivalent activity may be provided in its place if entry to a site is impacted by modifications to working hours or public holiday closures.

This covers any modifications to your reservation that you request, including but not restricted to those that call for reissuing the Purchase Confirmation or an airline ticket.
Changes: $100.00 per reservation plus any extra fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging or any travel agencies.

In the event that Royal India Tours receives notification of an inaccurate name, there will be a $100.00 booking fee in addition to any additional fees levied by the airline, cruise line, lodging provider or other travel suppliers.
