Itinerary

  • Morning: Amber Fort & Jal Mahal Viewpoint

The day begins with a comfortable pickup from your Jaipur hotel. As you drive toward the Aravalli hills, the road leads directly to the majestic Amber Fort, one of Rajasthan’s most iconic fort complexes. You spend generous time exploring its courtyards, mirrored halls and viewpoints overlooking Maota Lake. The fort's layout, artwork and sweeping views introduce you to Jaipur’s royal heritage in the most engaging way.
After descending from Amber, the car stops at the Jal Mahal viewpoint. The palace, floating calmly in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, makes for a beautiful photographic moment. The peaceful setting offers a short yet refreshing break before continuing your tour.

  • Afternoon: City Palace & Jantar Mantar

The next part of the day takes you into the heart of the Pink City. The City Palace showcases royal architecture, traditional textiles and elegant courtyards filled with quiet charm. Walking through the museum and open spaces gives you a clear sense of Jaipur’s royal lifestyle.
A short walk leads to the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar, where ancient astronomical instruments demonstrate the scientific precision of the era. The structures introduce you to unique methods of time measurement and celestial observation, making this visit educational and visually engaging.

  • Evening: Hawa Mahal & Local Markets

The evening section includes a stop at Hawa Mahal, a beautifully designed façade with hundreds of small windows. You observe the structure from the main street, where its pink sandstone glow becomes especially striking in the late sunlight.
The day concludes with time in Jaipur’s lively markets such as Bapu Bazaar or Johari Bazaar. The colors, textiles, jewelry and handicrafts reflect the city’s artistic identity. After exploring the shopping lanes, you return to your hotel for a relaxed evening.

  • Morning: Albert Hall Museum & Birla Temple

Day two begins with a visit to the Albert Hall Museum, the oldest museum in Rajasthan. Its Indo-Saracenic architecture, curated galleries and historical artifacts create an engaging start to your morning. Each section reveals a different aspect of Rajasthan’s artistic and cultural development.

Next, you visit the serene Birla Temple, built with white marble and set against a backdrop of the hillside. The calm environment and detailed carvings make the temple a peaceful stop, offering a contrasting experience to the busy markets and monuments of the previous day.

  • Afternoon: Jaipur Markets, Craft Demonstration & Local Sights

After the temple visit, the tour continues with additional time for markets or selective craft demonstrations. Jaipur is known for block printing, gemstone cutting and blue pottery, and short studio visits help you appreciate the craftsmanship that defines the region. The visit remains optional and non-commercial, designed only for learning.

The rest of the afternoon includes visits to smaller local attractions or viewpoints based on your interests. The relaxed pace ensures enough time to enjoy the city without rushing. By late afternoon, the driver drops you at your hotel, completing your 2-day Jaipur exploration.
