Kochi’s blend of history and coastal ambience provides a fitting end to your journey.
Your tour concludes with a timely transfer to Kochi Airport. The past two weeks of palaces, mountains, plantations, forests and backwaters leave you with a rich understanding of South India’s diversity and beauty.
Arrive in Bangalore and meet your private driver who will accompany you throughout the tour. After reaching your hotel, take time to settle in and relax after your journey. If time permits, explore neighbourhood markets or cafés that reflect the city's youthful energy.
In the evening, unwind at your hotel and enjoy a peaceful start to your South India adventure. Bangalore’s blend of modern culture and green spaces makes it an ideal gateway to the more scenic landscapes waiting ahead.
Begin your morning drive to Mysore, passing through countryside views and small towns known for regional crafts and traditional lifestyles. Upon reaching Mysore, check in at your hotel and enjoy some leisure time before stepping out to discover the city.
In the afternoon, visit Mysore Palace, an architectural masterpiece adorned with stunning halls, frescoes and ornate details. Later, explore Devaraja Market, where stalls overflow with flowers, spices and local produce, giving you a warm introduction to the city’s cultural pulse.
Start your day with a visit to Chamundi Hill, where a scenic drive leads you to the hilltop temple dedicated to Goddess Chamundeshwari. The panoramic view from the summit offers a beautiful look at the entire city spread across the plains.
After returning to the city, explore additional landmarks such as Jaganmohan Palace or St. Philomena’s Church. The evening is ideal for a gentle walk around local streets or enjoying South Indian meals that highlight Mysore’s culinary heritage.
After breakfast, travel into the Western Ghats toward Coorg, a region famous for its rolling hills and coffee plantations. Once you arrive, check in at your nature retreat surrounded by lush greenery and fresh mountain air. Spend the afternoon exploring the estate or simply enjoying the quiet ambience.
In the evening, take a leisurely walk through the plantation trails where pepper vines, coffee shrubs and cardamom plants paint the landscape. The calm and refreshing environment sets a soothing pace for your stay.
Begin your morning with a guided walk through a coffee plantation to understand cultivation methods, harvesting practices and the fragrance that defines Coorg’s identity. The trail winds through shaded slopes, offering scenic views and plenty of bird activity.
Later, explore local attractions such as Abbey Falls or Raja’s Seat, both offering panoramic views and serene surroundings. Return to your retreat for a relaxed evening, where the cool climate and natural beauty create a peaceful end to the day.
Drive toward Wayanad, entering one of South India’s most beautiful forested districts. The journey features winding mountain roads, small villages and lush greenery that gradually deepen as you approach Kerala. After checking in at your resort, enjoy the refreshing environment and scenic views from your room or balcony.
In the evening, explore the property, walk along garden paths or simply unwind while soaking in the calm atmosphere. Wayanad’s terrain offers a perfect blend of hills, forests and spice-covered slopes, making it a favourite among nature lovers.
Start your day with visits to key attractions such as Pookode Lake, Soochipara Waterfalls or viewpoints that showcase Wayanad’s raw natural charm. The region is ideal for short treks, gentle walks and peaceful moments by the water.
Later, explore spice farms where pepper, vanilla and nutmeg thrive in Kerala’s fertile soil. Return to your resort for a quiet evening surrounded by nature’s soothing sounds.
Leave Wayanad behind and ascend toward Ooty, crossing scenic forest belts and winding mountain passes. The cool climate and eucalyptus-scented breeze welcome you as you approach the hill station. After checking in, enjoy some rest before exploring the local surroundings.
In the afternoon, walk around the town or visit nearby gardens at leisure. Ooty’s gentle slopes, green valleys and relaxed atmosphere make it a perfect midpoint for your extended journey.
Begin your morning with a visit to Ooty Botanical Garden, where terraced lawns, rare plant species and colourful flowerbeds create a refreshing atmosphere for leisurely exploration. As you walk along tree-shaded paths, the cool mountain air and scenic beauty of the Nilgiris enhance the experience. Continue toward Doddabetta Peak, the highest viewpoint in the region, offering sweeping vistas of valleys, forests and the far-stretching blue mist that gives the Blue Mountains their name.
In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Ooty Lake, surrounded by green slopes and eucalyptus groves. The slow pace of the lake blends beautifully with the relaxed charm of the hill station. Later, stroll through local markets where handmade chocolates, essential oils and spices are popular souvenirs. Ooty’s gentle rhythm and scenic landscapes make this day both memorable and calming.
After breakfast, begin your picturesque journey from Tamil Nadu into the heart of Kerala’s tea country. The route toward Munnar winds through dense forests, dam reservoirs and tiny hillside villages, gradually opening up into vast green carpets of tea gardens as you approach the hill station. Upon arrival, check in at your resort and enjoy the refreshing climate and panoramic views from your balcony.
The evening offers leisure time to walk along nearby slopes or simply unwind with a warm cup of fresh tea. Munnar’s tranquil charm, mist-covered valleys and cool breezes create a perfect introduction to the landscapes you will be exploring tomorrow.
Your day begins with a visit to Eravikulam National Park (subject to seasonal opening), home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. The soft morning light across the rolling grasslands creates a beautiful setting for observing wildlife and enjoying panoramic mountain views. Continue your exploration at Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and tea plantations that stretch endlessly across the hills.
In the afternoon, visit a local tea museum to understand the region’s plantation history and production methods. The exhibits, old machinery and tasting sessions deepen your appreciation for Munnar’s significance in India’s tea culture. Return to your resort for a relaxed evening surrounded by nature.
Drive toward Thekkady, watching the landscape shift from tea gardens to spice-laden forests. Upon reaching this well-known nature region, check in at your resort where the scent of cardamom and pepper fills the air. The ambience is peaceful, with green hills and forest edges framing the property.
In the afternoon, take a guided walk through a traditional spice plantation to see how cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and pepper are grown and processed. The experience is both aromatic and educational, offering insight into Kerala’s long-standing spice trade.
Morning options include a forest trek or a boat ride on Periyar Lake, where you may spot elephants, deer or birdlife along the water’s edge. These activities bring you closer to the gentle wild beauty of the forest. The lush slopes, tall trees and peaceful lake surroundings create a refreshing environment for nature lovers.
Later, explore local markets filled with spices, herbal products and handmade goods. You may also attend a cultural performance showcasing Kerala’s traditional martial art (Kalaripayattu) or classical dance forms. Evenings in Thekkady are calm, making it ideal for rest and reflection.
Today you descend from the highlands toward the serene backwaters of Alleppey. On arrival, board your private houseboat, designed as a floating cottage with comfortable rooms and a dining area. As the boat begins to glide through narrow canals, you witness life along the water — fishermen at work, coconut trees lining the banks, and small villages that reflect Kerala’s rural charm.
Enjoy freshly cooked meals prepared by the onboard chef as the houseboat cruises through open lakes and waterways. The gentle movement of water, birdsong and the golden hues of sunset create a peaceful setting. As night falls and the boat anchors, the stillness of the backwaters offers a truly memorable experience.
